А че, неплохо бы и ответить за беспредел. А заодно разобраться с троцкистами, засевшими в так называемом суде так называемого 9ого цирка. Оне пренепременно же ж ведь процитируют Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005), и скажут нам, что полиция, вообще говоря, не имеет конституционной обязанности кого-то от чего-то конкретного защищать.

Read above. SJC lawyers are fairly sure they will eventually prevail, and for a good reason. The case will eventually get to the so called court of the so called 9th circus, where the heartbleeding liberals will rule, citing something like Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005), that police is under no specific duty to protect anyone from anything, only to enforce the law (which they did by catching 4 out of about a hundred anti-Trump thugs).
